As a study program, we have to adapt to developments in the field. The boundaries between disciplines such as analog electronics, embedded software, and digital design are becoming less distinct. Topics like system-on-chip, sustainability awareness, the applications of AI in engineering, and system engineering provide the inspiring learning and working environment you are looking for.
You will work within a team of more than 20 colleagues, each with a unique background. Together, you are responsible for developing and delivering education while ensuring the quality of the study program. Education is demanding in terms of effort and flexibility, and you hold the responsibility for the future of our students. How You Make an Impact?
- You provide education in the subjects of embedded programming and digital design techniques across all years of the study program.
- You guide student groups with their project work, internships, and graduation internships.
- Together with your team, you play a key role in shaping educational innovation and developing new study material.
- With a coaching approach, you support students in project assignments and applied research.
- You contribute in an inspiring way to collaborations with research institutions and the regional professional field.
- You take on team responsibilities, such as coordination or safeguarding the quality of education, to guarantee a smooth study experience for students.
What qualifications do you provide?
To truly make an impact in this role, we expect at least a bachelor's-level education (HBO), preferably a master's-level (WO) degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or an equivalent field. Experience in designing embedded software and/or working with VHDL is essential. Knowledge of systematic prototype design, such as using the V-model, is a plus. A teaching qualification is also an advantage.
