The inherent complexity is large. The scope and number of technological developments (e.g. augmented reality, autonomous robots, machine learning, and so on) is profound. Capitalizing on these developments requires understanding of the current state of technology and methods for the assessment of suitability, and the requirements for successful implementation. Human and organizational aspects play an important role here.
